Since the time Hyundai Verna made its first debut in September 2006, it has received an overwhelming response from aspiring car buyers. The car has come a long way with its brilliant styling, versatile interiors, and time-tested quality to reach the position it rejoices today. Today, in the Indian car market, Hyundai Verna rejoices a market share of 16%. After experiencing a successful journey on Indian roads, the Verna rolls out with its new siblings. Hyundai has now introduced new variants of the Verna to further improve design structure and offer a more delightful and impressive appeal to all the buyers. The new Verna retains the same engine and mechanicals but is adorned with a host of striking exteriors and inspiring interiors. With the new features also the car holds the same symphony of striking design, outstanding performance, and impressive fuel efficiency. Exterior Appeal The new Verna is creatively designed with new embellishments while maintaining its contemporary European looks. It now bears a stylish new radiator grille, electrically adjustable ORVM, rear chrome garnish, and new chrome insert in waistline moulding. All these embellishments along with full wheel covers enhance the visual appeal of the car's exterior and offers a more dynamic look. Interior Comfort The new Verna is capacious enough to accommodate five passengers comfortably. In the interior, there are various modifications in terms of design, quality of materials, and grade of fabric used. The new car also possess an upgraded audio console with a high fidelity 2 DIN Music System along with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters. This high-end car audio system offers a great driving experience on all journeys. Any of Hyundai's car has never taken a back seat in terms of safety and so is the new Verna. It is equipped with a pack of car safety features including the anti-lock brakes that help prevent skidding on wet roads. Engine Power The new Verna retains its powerful engines in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variants of the car are powered by a 1.6-litre VTVT (variable timing valve train) technology that generates 110 bhp whereas the diesel variants are driven by a 1.5-litre CRDi VGT (variable geometry turbocharger) engine that churns out 109 bhp. All the variants come with a 5-sped manual transmission. However, the top-end diesel variant gets an option of automatic transmission, making Verna the first diesel car with automatic transmission in its segment. Conclusion Although there are not much changes and modifications in the new Verna, the new car is expected to spark a new revolution in the car industry. Various changes in the car's interior and striking adornments in the exterior will et new benchmark in automotive design segment whereas the introduction of automatic transmission in the diesel variant will take the car to newer heights. |
